Membership fees
The ISPAD fee structure is based on profession types and country of residence. Click here to see your country category fee as defined by the World Bank.
Membership categories and definitions
- Physician: CV required with application
- Psychologist, Nurse, Dietitian or other healthcare professional: CV required with application, letter of support from Head of Department confirming professional status or registration, practicing certificate or ID Card stipulating profession.
- Student, Fellow or Trainee: CV, proof of full-time enrolment at a recognized university or college (student card or letter of support from a Head of Department) required with application
- Team Members: Hospitals and institutes can now purchase a team membership for their diabetes team. A Physician, who will be the account owner, can apply for Team membership for up to five team members from the same institution. Current memberships cannot be transferred to team membership. Students, fellows and trainees aren't eligible for Team membership.
- Patient Advocate: Individuals who have impacted the lives of people living with diabetes
- Low, lower-middle and upper-middle income countries: proof of residency required (utility bill or other formal document that indicates country of residence), definitions as per the World Bank

Membership Fees for Low-Income-Countries

All fees are waived for any member coming from a Low-Income-Country. Before registering under this category, please be sure that your country category fee as defined by the World Bank. A proof of residence will be requested during the registration process.
Additional Membership options
ISPAD / SWEET Dual Membership

Centers for pediatric diabetes care can join a professional network based on agreed standards of care and criteria for certification by peer review. The joint SWEET registry enables benchmarking and multicenter outcome research.

The ISPAD and SWEET Dual Membership is available only if you are already a part of an ISPAD Team Membership.

All Members from this category can become a member of SWEET at a 10% discount.
- Benefit: Dual membership allows you to take advantage of the benefits and services offered by ISPAD and SWEET. As an ISPAD member, you can secure a SWEET membership at a 10% discount.
Team membership
