Fun fact: “When my dad bought a ZX Spectrum in the 1980s, I instantly fell in love with computers and video games. These feelings persisted throughout my studies, and at one point, I started wondering if it was normal for a grown-up individual, a doctor, to be still obsessed with computers, palm-tops, and all sorts of electronic gadgets. Now, when insulin pumps and CGM sensors are improving the lives of more and more kids with diabetes worldwide, I feel proud of being a gadget-loving nerd. Dad, thanks for the space invaders.”
