Abstract Committee
The Abstract Committee of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) plays a vital role in planning and evaluating abstracts submitted for ISPAD meetings. This committee ensures that the highest-quality research is presented at the annual conference, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in pediatric and adolescent diabetes.

Duties and Activities
- Planning and Timelines: Establish and manage timelines for the submission, review, and evaluation of abstracts for ISPAD meetings.
- Review Process: Oversee the process by which abstracts are reviewed and evaluated, ensuring a fair and rigorous selection process.
- Reviewer Coordination: Collaborate with a dedicated group of reviewers and super-reviewers from the ISPAD membership who participate in the rating and selection of abstracts.
- Selection of Presentations: Select abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the annual meeting, ensuring a diverse and high-quality program.
- Regular Meetings: Participate in regular meetings before and after the annual meeting to establish timelines and assess the review process.
- Abstract Review: Engage in the review and rating of abstracts closer to the annual meeting, ensuring a thorough and fair evaluation process.
