PETCA/PETCWA Tutoring in Africa

For several years now, ISPAD has been one of the partners in the training of endocrine and diabetes fellows in Nairobi and Lagos in Africa. For these courses ISPAD and ESPE (European Society for Pediatric Endocrinology) tutors alternate with national colleagues. These courses are very valuable and allow time for teaching, leisure as well as learning on both sides. Tutors stay for around 2 weeks and economy travel, visa costs, vaccinations as well as housing are covered by an educational grant from the World Diabetes Foundation.
